Hey, Vic. I showed Mrs Pigfender your post and she said...

Re: [NB] Overall Impression: I Would Not Upgrade

It’s the “greatly needed” bit that interests me the most about your comment. Plenty of people have written fantastic works in Scrivener for Windows. I planned and wrote a collaborative novel in the Windows Beta version 8 years ago. And let’s not forget that Scrivener 3 has only actually been out on ...

Re: [NB] Overall Impression: I Would Not Upgrade

Bravo for your loyalty . . . I'm unconvinced; I've been through enough Agile scrums to last a lifetime. And enough S/W budgeting battles to know what I'm looking for from a vendor. But I'm not going to make an impact here, so I salute you again for your loyalty to L&L, and now move on.. Ha! It'...

Re: [NB] Overall Impression: I Would Not Upgrade

The further commentary since my post of yesterday simply confirms my decision to move past Scrivener. If L&L are in the software business, then by definition, they are in a business. A drastically corrosive practice a business can engage in is to leave their clients in ongoing uncertainty on ho...

Our best wishes to Kaysa for a speedy recovery.

PS - I like the look of the new UI - I think it works very nicely. Although I’d probably pick a different orange for the index cards, personally!

JAAAAYSSSEN! Hark! Thou dost have a birthday!

Okay, I've spent the last 38 minutes staring at a blank "post a new topic" window, trying to think of something original, clever, and / or funny to say about birthdays. Apparently I'm out of those attributes today. Still, maybe you can take some comfort that I considered you worth 38 minut...

What is it with this thread? I keep getting post notifications about this thread, but there are never any new posts here! Even if this is the result of spam postings that get quickly removed, why specifically this thread?? Here there be mysteries. gr Yup - it's a popular (relatively speaking) post ...

Sadly, no. As J says, I went there on vacation a while back. Very memorable, though, and I’ll definitely be returning at some point.
