Changing the subject slightly...
How do people feel about having expositional elements in their chapter briefs? I’ve tended to write off story ideas that have required any material level of exposition, but maybe I’m too sensitive?

We’re not really coming up with different genres in the truest sense. Thanks all for the very helpful input! Nice to know there are some fantastic names out there I can use, and it sounds like, for recognition purposes, and major plot points involving apples should use Braeburn, Fuji, Gala, or the mighty Granny Smith!
